Great to begin the Autumn Term with the news that two funding bids for outdoor literacy projects scoped and submitted out of Break 3 literacy lead meetings earlier this year have been successful.

As a result Chris Jelley will develop Storywalks with Norton St Philip First School, thanks to a grant from the Shine Trust. One of only ten teacher-led projects across the country that have won funding. Well done Claire!

After Christmas, Lucia Harley and Chris will work with Rode First School and families on outdoor reading dens and trails, thanks to support from Awards for All.

Break 3 are delighted to be supporting both schools on co-ordinating these projects. More news soon.
