Frome’s yearly Christmas celebrations are a great way to kick off the festive season, with the town centre event featuring carols and, of course, the lights switch-on. Since 2017 the evening has also started with lantern processions through the town centre and this has quickly become a town tradition. This year the lantern theme is celebrating the bicentenary of the birth of J.W. Singer, with lantern replicas of the sculptures and statues made at the foundry.
